New Year resolutions that kill two birds
Most of us set resolutions for the New Year, but very few achieve them. We often envision our perfect selves and set goals too difficult to achieve. We may stick to them for a few days, weeks or even months but, eventually, we give up. The trend continues year after year.
Don’t set a slew of resolutions that you will never achieve this year. Instead, focus on one easy goal that will obtain multiple outcomes.
For example, cancel your gym membership (you never go anyways). Instead, set a goal to walk around your local park three times a week after work. You will be getting outside more, exercising, and saving money on a wasted gym membership. It’s three resolutions in one. Furthermore, you have a good chance of achieving the goal, improving your confidence and mental health in the process.
