Accountants Making a Difference – Phuong Dang (Maroubra, NSW)

Accountant Phuong Dang spent July and August working with the AustViet Charity Foundation in Vietnam.

The charity ‘was founded in 2015 by a group of passionate Australian medical professionals of Vietnamese background, who share over an astounding 30 years of volunteering experience amongst them with the vision of bringing hope and health to disadvantaged people of ethnic minority and remote areas of Vietnam’.

She assisted with eye surgeries, and helped provide hearing aids and health examinations for over 1,000 people during her visit.
